What Materials are Used in Your Jewelry?

At Valentina New York, transparency and quality are at the heart of our commitment. All pieces are handcrafted in-house, using sourced materials like gold-filled, sterling silver, cultured pearls, and natural and lab-created gemstones. To learn more, visit our Our Materials page.

How Long Will Gold-Filled Jewelry Last?

Gold-filled jewelry is highly durable and can last for years with proper care. Its thick layer of gold is much more resistant to tarnishing and wear compared to gold-plated jewelry, making it a great choice for everyday wear.

Can I Shower with My Jewelry?

For the most part—yes! Gold-filled and sterling silver jewelry can withstand normal wear and tear from showering and sleeping in it. However, there are exceptions. While you can shower with sterling silver jewelry, it is not recommended because water and moisture can tarnish the metal. The humidity from hot water and chemicals in shower products can cause sterling silver to darken over time.

Does Your Jewelry Have Nickel?

No, our jewelry is nickel-free.

Is Your Jewelry Sustainable?

We strive to create jewelry using clean and low-impact materials whenever possible. All of our pieces are handcrafted in-house by our dedicated small team in New York, which helps us reduce unnecessary waste. While we are a small business without full oversight of the entire supply chain, we make every effort to work with companies that use recycled materials and treat their workers fairly.

Do You Offer Custom or Personalized Jewelry?

We only offer customizations on chain sizes that might not be available as an option. For example, if you need an adjustment on a chain bracelet or chain ring size, please reach out to us before purchasing the product to confirm availability.

I Don’t Know My Ring Size. How Can I Find Out?

Do You Offer a Warranty?

Warranty Coverage:
Valentina Jewelry stands behind the quality of our products. We offer a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects.

Examples of manufacturer defects include:

  • Spring clasp breaking
  • Chain disconnecting from the clasp/jump ring
  • Chain breaking in the middle without force being applied to it (no stretched links)

Orders

Can I Track My Order?

Yes, you will receive a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Can I Cancel or Modify My Order After Placing It?

Yes!

Order Changes & Cancellations:
Should you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at hello@valentinanewyork.com. We kindly ask that you do this within 24 hours of placing your order to avoid any issues with processing. We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. However, once an order has begun processing, we may not be able to make any changes.

What Happens If I Enter the Wrong Shipping Address?

If you accidentally enter the wrong shipping address, please contact us at hello@valentinanewyork.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to update the address before your order is shipped. However, if the order has already been dispatched, we may not be able to make changes.

Can I Include a Gift Note with My Order?

Yes, you can include a gift note during the "notes" section at checkout.

Can I Pre-Order an Out-of-Stock Item?

At the moment, we do not offer pre-orders for out-of-stock items. We recommend signing up for our newsletter to be alerted when your favorite items might be available again.

I Ordered the Wrong Item or Size. Can I Exchange It?

Yes, we now offer free exchanges for eligible items! If you ordered the wrong size or item, simply email us at hello@valentinanewyork.com with your order details, and we’ll assist you in processing the exchange

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally!

International Orders:

  • Free Shipping: Free shipping is available on orders over $150 via USPS First Class International. Delivery times range from 7-25 business days, depending on customs.
  • Customs/Duty Fees: International shipments may be subject to customs fees or duties determined by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Do You Offer Expedited Shipping?

For those requiring faster delivery, we offer Priority Mail Express and UPS Next Day Air. The cost for these services varies based on customer location, ensuring you get the best rate possible.

What If My Package Is Delayed or Lost in Transit?

Occasionally, USPS marks packages as "delivered" prematurely, especially during busy holiday seasons. We recommend waiting 24-48 hours, as internal delays can occur. Please check with neighbors, housemates, or delivery areas around your home. If your package remains missing after 48 hours, email us at hello@valentinanewyork.com within 24-48 hours of the delivery status update. While we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, we’ll do our best to assist.

Can I Return an Item?

Is your order not what you expected? If for any reason you wish to return any of your items, you can do so within 30 days after your package has been delivered.

There are two return options:

Do You Offer Gift Cards?

Can I Use More Than One Discount Code?

No, we currently allow only one discount code per transaction.

Do You Provide Repairs for Your Jewelry?

Yes, we offer repair services for our jewelry. If your piece needs repair after the warranty period or for non-manufacturing issues, contact us at hello@valentinanewyork.com to discuss your options.

Can I Visit Your Studio or Store?

At this time, Valentina New York operates online only. We do not have a physical store or studio open for visits.

Our business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. We typically reply fastest during these times.
